My family is fussy...So glad you understand, Anita.<br /><br />My family is fussy about bones. But I reckon there's nothing nicer than whiting to eat. I had to clean them if I wanted to eat them, so I only ever kept a big whiting if there wasn't enough other fish - born lazy! They were the mos...These are my favourite fish too. They were the most common fish to catch where I grew up (and as you said are fun to catch, especially for kids), I love the silver flash and shape of them, no barbs to watch for (easy for kids), would eat any bait (yabbies, squid, worms). Plus they are totally yummy.
